Walker Caddy

Finished size: approximately 6 1/2 x 12"

Cut a piece of fabric (preferably heavy) 13 1/2 x 16" long. Turn under 1/4 on each 14" long side. Make a self band 1 1/4 on each 16" long piece. Sew band down on long sides. Turn right sides together and sew each short side. Make handles of straps 15" long x 1 1/2 wide. Finished size. Sew straps on top and bottom of band. Makes stronger. Make button hole 12" from end of band that is sewn on. Sew button on.

These measurements do not have to be exactly perfect. This finished size in a good size to use for the walkers. The more heavy duty it is made the more animals and etc. the patients can put in them without tearing the handles off.

It would be good for you to make one of these up and you can see what size you would like. These can be buttoned on to the bed rail and used for anything they want to put in them. The reason for not putting pockets etc. is that some fingers just cannot find the pocket.
